In a time when technology and artificial intelligence are rapidly reshaping how we create and communicate, Sound Story Collective exists to keep the human story at the center of music. Each review and interview focuses not only on the sound of a song, but also on the ideas, emotions, and creative journeys that inspired it, creating a space where artists and listeners can connect through authentic storytelling.
 

Founded by songwriter, guitarist, record label founder, award-winning songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sylvie Abate, the Collective reflects a lifelong passion for music and storytelling. Sylvie studied classical guitar at the New England Conservatory of Music and has performed with ensembles including the Austin Classical Guitar Ensemble, the Happy Valley Orchestra, and the Providence Mandolin Ensemble, as well as indie groups such as Celticity, The BeeKeepers, and Sylvie & Mandy. Her songwriting has received recognition from the Intercontinental Music Awards, Global Music Awards, Independent Music Awards, and the W.A.M. Awards.
 

With decades spent listening, performing, and writing songs, Sylvie created Sound Story Collective as a place where independent artists can be heard and their music thoughtfully explored. Each review and interview focuses not only on the sound of a song, but also on the ideas, emotions, and creative journeys behind it.
